Hagan & Wood Manufacturing Druggists, ( Charles F. Hagan and Jonathan Logan Wood), located at 515 Cumberland St. in Bristol,VA. had its beginnings in 1888. In time, C.F.Hagan withdrew from the company and formed the Cin-Co-Lery Company, continuing to manufacture "Patent Medicines."

There is but one bottle known bearing only paper labels and put out by C.F.Hagan...Cin-Co-Lery Compound after he discontinued his partnership with J.Logan Wood. This may be in the early 1890's as he is ordering his own medicinal supplies by 1893. Some years later,(1904), he was listed as in the Coal & Coke Supply business. Then in 1909, he is somehow associated with The Casper Whiskey Co. of Roanoke, VA.
As early as 1909, Hagan is listed as the Treasurer of The Bristol Distributing Co., a wholesale whiskey and beer  establishment. I believe this also explains his affiliation with the Casper Whiskey Co. noted above.
And, as per one source,  Hagan's business venture's beginnings with the Bristol Distributing  Company , (servicing area saloons), dates back to at least 1905.
The same source gave me Hagan's formula for the Cin-Co-Lery Compound:
  Cinchona 1/2 oz
  Num vom  1/4 oz
  Coca 1/2 oz
  Damiana 1 oz
  Chamomile  1/4 oz
  Celery Seed 1/4 oz
  Phosphorous qr  1/8
added to alcohol and simple syrup.
In 1893-98, the chemicals were ordered from Shoemaker & Busch, wholesale duggists in Philadelphia, then in  1898 & 1899 from Allaire Woodward & Co.,  in Peoria Illinois.  In 1900 Hagan received a quote from Davies ,Rose ,& Company in Boston for a new batch. Hagan evidently mixed the ingredients locally. Hagan additionally made  orders & statements for the purchase of bottles, cases, and engraved labels.
